PERMITS & CODE COMPLIANCE
Most basement developments and structural modifications in HRM require a building permit. We work with your permit application and ensure our framing meets HRM code requirements and passes inspection.
COORDINATION WITH OTHER TRADES
Framing is the first rough-in step. We coordinate timing with your electrician, plumber and HVAC contractor to ensure rough-ins happen in the right sequence before drywall closes up the walls.

We use both. Wood is standard for most residential work. Steel studs are preferred for non-load-bearing walls in basements due to moisture resistance.
